RE-ELECT
Mary Fedeli
Stamford Board of Reps

Life-Long Resident
I am a lifelong resident of Stamford and I have lived in Springdale for the last 30 years. My dad was a sergeant in the Stamford Police Department and my mom worked in the Stamford Public Schools.
Public Advocate
I heard the neighbors of Sleepy Hollow Park who asked that swings be added, and I listened to families when they said no to pickleball courts and yes to a park on the site of the rundown basketball courts on Haig Ave.
Proven Leader
I have been the Minority Leader on the Board since 2013, and I am known as someone who consistently works across party lines regardless of the issue because doing what is best for my neighbors is what is important.

ABOUT
"It’s about making the quality of life better for the residents of Springdale."
I am a lifelong resident of Stamford, born in the Waterside section, and I have lived in Springdale for the last 30 years. Growing up, I was heavily influenced by my parents, Terry and Dante Fedeli, who were hard-working, community-minded role models. My dad was a retired sergeant in the Stamford Police Department and was heavily involved in the neighborhood where he resided for over 60 years, as was my mom, who worked in the Stamford Public Schools.
For me, it is not the politics of being on the Board that makes me want to return; it is the constituent work. It’s about making the quality of life better for the residents of Springdale, whether it is fixing a pothole or fighting a blighted property; it all matters.
Over the past four years, I have heard the residents when they spoke out against developing the Civil Defense Building on Haig Ave into apartments. I heard the neighbors of Sleepy Hollow Park who asked that swings be added, and I listened to families when they said no to pickleball courts and yes to a park on the site of the rundown basketball courts on Haig Ave. This is what I am passionate about!
Most recently, I have stood with residents and spoken against the current 2035 Comprehensive Plan. We need to urge the Planning Board to protect neighborhoods like Springdale against changes that would jeopardize their home values.
I have been the Minority Leader on the Board since 2013, and I am known as someone who consistently works across party lines regardless of the issue because doing what is best for you, my neighbors, is what is important.
